Bohai Securities Inc. (Bohai Securities) is a comprehensive securities company established in Tianjin in June 2001. Its predecessor was Bohai Securities Co., Ltd. On March 20, 2018, Bohai Securities completed record filing with the Asset Management Association of China and became a private fund manager. It operates 21 branches and 45 securities business departments in various provinces and regions, including Tianjin, Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong.
Bohai Securities has a total of 43 shareholders, with major shareholders including Tianjin Teda International Holding (Group) Co., Ltd., Tianjin Teda Inc., and Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Holdings Company. Among them, Tianjin Teda International Holding (Group) Co., Ltd. is the controlling shareholder.
Development History:
- The company was established in June 2001, which based on the merger and reorganization of several institutional securities business departments, including the original Tianjin Securities Co., Ltd., Tianjin International Trust and Investment Corporation, Tianjin Trust and Investment Corporation, Tianjin Northern International Trust and Investment Corporation, and Tianjin Binhai Trust and Investment Co., Ltd.
- The China Securities Regulatory Commission approved the overall restructuring of Bohai Securities Co., Ltd. into a joint-stock limited company in May 2008, and the company's name was changed to Bohai Securities Inc.
- Bohai Securities implemented the increase of capital, raising its registered capital to 3.2 billion yuan in 2010.
