Caixin Media is a multimedia organization founded by Hu Shuli, former editor-in-chief of "Caijing" magazine in 2009. It focuses on providing financial and economic news and information services. - January 11, 2010: Caixin Media was officially launched, integrating a variety of information products such as news, opinions, multimedia, and interactive features to provide daily financial and economic news, information, and commentaries for readers in China's political, financial, industrial, and academic circles, as well as basic financial information services.
- September 22, 2011: The new version of Caixin Media's website was officially released.
- January 6, 2012: Caixin Media announced the official launch of its new international domain name.
- March 2015: "New Century" magazine officially changed its name to "Caixin Weekly" and jointly acquired the "Global Market Intelligence Division" with private equity funds under CITIC Capital.

- November 2022: At the 13th Caixin Summit, Hu Shuli, President of Caixin Media, announced that online subscriptions for Caixin Media had exceeded 900,000 by the end of October 2022.
