Europe's largest food delivery company, Just Eat Takeaway, announced on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement with Amazon to provide free delivery services for orders over €15 (approximately $16.13) for Amazon Prime members in Germany, Austria, and Spain.
Just Eat stated that this collaboration has no financial terms, but both parties view it as a mutually beneficial relationship.
This is the company's first collaboration with Amazon in Europe.
At the end of May, Amazon announced that customers in the U.S. can now order directly from its subsidiary Grubhub through its shopping app and website, expanding an earlier agreement that provided Grubhub+ membership for free to Prime members.
The two companies initially reached a partnership agreement in mid-2022.
Just Eat also mentioned that this collaboration will be implemented through Lieferando in Germany and Austria and Just Eat in Spain.
