Mainland China and Hong Kong to Boost Stock Connect with Block Trades

Securities regulators in Mainland China and Hong Kong have approved the inclusion of block trades and manual trades in the Stock Connect, enhancing the cross-border investment platform, improving transaction efficiency, and fostering the development of capital markets in both regions. This move will allow investors to engage in block trades of stocks listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, further encouraging participation in the A-share market.

Binance Shuts Down Its On-Ramp and Payment Services Features, Including Binance Connect

Regulated trade blockchain branch of the Binance exchange, Binance Connect, is reported to shut down today (August 16). Biswajp tweeted that due to its supplier ceasing credit card payment services, Binance decided to discontinue @Binance_Connect on August 15.
