1. London Stock Exchange Establishes Malaysian Office

The global financial market infrastructure and data provider, London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), announced the opening of a new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This move is aimed at fulfilling its commitment to nurturing local talent and promoting economic growth in Malaysia.

2. Clearstream and KSD Sign Agency Agreement to Facilitate Foreign Access to the Korean Market

Clearstream, the post-trade services provider of Deutsche Börse in Europe, signed an agency agreement with Korean financial institutions on Wednesday (August 30) in Luxembourg, following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Securities Depository (KSD) last December.

In April this year, Clearstream was granted Qualified Foreign Intermediary (CFI) status by the Korean National Tax Service (NTS), becoming the first ICSD to enter the Korean market through the conventional IRC investment channel.

3. CySEC Reaches a €60,000 Settlement with ISPASS TECHNOLOGIES for Regulatory Violations

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has recently announced a settlement agreement with ISPASS TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, involving a payment of €60,000, which has been fully paid. ISPASS TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED specializes in developing MetaTrader integration and trading plugins. The settlement was reached due to the company's alleged violations of the 2017 Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law.
