According to The Wall Street Journal, accounting giant PwC will become the largest customer and first reseller of enterprise products from AI startup OpenAI, as part of a new deal.
OpenAI and PwC did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comment.
PwC is reportedly launching a Microsoft-supported version of OpenAI's flagship chatbot, ChatGPT Enterprise, tailored for large enterprises.
The report also states that the accounting firm will provide ChatGPT Enterprise to its U.S. employees, numbering 75,000, and its 26,000 UK employees, offering more than 100,000 licenses for OpenAI's AI products in total.
The report cites a PwC spokesperson saying the OpenAI agreement is part of PwC's $1 billion investment plan in generative AI technology announced last year.
